Grade B vanilla pods are the most popular choice amongst our brewery and distillery customers. Compared to A-grade vanilla pods they are a little smaller in size at +12cm with a slightly less intense vanilla aroma and a moisture content of 15-30%. Visually they are lighter in color and less glossy than A-grade vanilla, however, they are a good choice for a balance between budget and quality.

Fragrant dark brown vanilla extract/paste is produced from natural whole vanilla beans traditionally made using a low alcohol methodology. Vanilla paste is thickened slightly to enable the vanilla seeds to be suspended throughout the fluid.

Fine ground vanilla bean powder produced from fresh natural vanilla beans. Grade A ground vanilla powder has an intense vanilla aroma and taste which requires less quantity and less permeation time to produce a full flavoured higher quality product. Vanilla beans used for making A grade ground vanilla powder are fresh non-spent vanilla that are dried to less than 10% moisture content and ground into a fine powder.
